Privacy Policy

QuoteCheck is designed to analyze a quote or estimate without requiring an account and without permanently storing the quote in QuoteCheck's own database.
Information you submit
You may submit pasted text, photos, images, or PDF files containing a quote or estimate. These files can naturally contain names, addresses, vehicle information, estimate numbers, and other information included by the service provider.
How submissions are used
Your submitted quote is sent to the service used to perform the analysis. It is used to produce the QuoteCheck result. QuoteCheck does not use quote contents for advertising and does not sell submitted quote contents.
AI processing
QuoteCheck uses the OpenAI API for analysis. QuoteCheck requests are configured not to store generated Responses API application state. OpenAI may still process or retain data as described in its applicable API data policies.
Usage analytics
QuoteCheck may record a small set of product events such as whether an analysis started, completed, failed, the input type used, whether the result was marked helpful, and whether another analysis was started. Quote text, uploaded files, contractor names, addresses, and AI result contents are not intentionally included in these analytics events.
No account required
QuoteCheck V1 does not require a user account.
Sensitive information
Do not submit unnecessary highly sensitive information such as passwords, Social Security numbers, or full payment-card numbers.
Changes
This policy may be updated as QuoteCheck changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
